Acre – Paths EP

The ever on form Saturated Records has just put the Paths EP by Acre on their bandcamp (pay what you like). Some very future bass and bleeps, mainly on the 130-140 tip.
Also worth nabbing is Anneka – Technicolor (NastyNasty remix), usual clean, yet dirt, NastyNasty business.

Graffic Equalizers Released

The new Birmingham based bass and electronic record label Beta Birmingham has just released its widely anticipated debut album ‘Graffic Equalizers’, on which I am stoked to have a track included (Lets do a Makeover).
It is available now from Juno / Addictech, Though I’d recommend grabbing a CD directly from the Beta Birmingham site for just £3.00+ p&p

Lasers, Ableton, Max, Kinect, Win
Using Kinect to control ableton has been of interest to me for some time. Matt Davis has just upped the game and used Kinect to control a laser rig at the same time. Great concept video (if your a geek).

Spotify Top Tunes

For those lucky enough to have access to Spotify, I’ve set up a short playlist of my favourite tunes which I’ll be ongoingly removing from and adding too as the mood suits.
For those who dont have Spotify, get it pronto. It completely changed my listening experience.

Beta Birmingham Album
![]()
Beta Birmingham’s debut release ‘Graffic Equalisers’ is being released 1st June, containing 10 tracks of bass heavy dancefloor dubs and next generation sub synthesis from the Midlands elite electronic producers. And I’m stoked to be able to say my track ‘Let’s Do A Makover’ is going to be contained on the release.
You can cop samples of the tracks on the Beta Birmingham website, Soundcloud, YouTube, Reverbnation and Myspaz.
I’ll be sticking a full sample of my track ‘Let’s Do A Makeover’ online a little closer to the release date.

Some mixes I likes

+Verb – Cyberblap2011 Sahn Mixtape
+Verb is definetly one to watch this year, this mix of his own productions showcases his lazer genre-defying style perfectly.
DJ Adsi – 1980s Nightrider Mash Up
Classic 80s cut up with Dubstep, Grime, Drum n Bass, Crack House and Bassline. Too much fun from the get-go.
Supercat – Intercontinental Beast mix
Relentless tune after tune of mainly Glitch Hop from San Frans catnip loving, Southpaw fighting Supercat.
